Summer Vacation 2015

We started are summer vacation Friday night driving to PA.

We got to Grandma's house Saturday morning and played Legos, cars, trucks, made bracelets and spent time with grandma while mom and dad rested. 

We also got to see Tom Tom, Shirl, Leah and Mikalya. 

Summer Vacation 2014: DE Wednesday

Today we went on a Pirate Ship! 

They all got pirate names:

Islander Isaac

Notical Noa

Eagle Eye Elijah

Islander Isaac got a mustache face painting! 

When we got of the pirate ship Coco was roaming under the restruant off her leash. 

Grandpa and Kathy tried to get her out while we got a table in the restruant. Kathy finally got Coco out!

On our way home we stopped for push pops. 

The highlight of the afternoon was watching Grandpa and Kathy get a new sleep number bed. Ha!! We watched the guys put it together. Pretty neat. 

Isaac still wasn't feeling great. He took a nap outside while Noa and Elijah played in the pond. 

They also went on another kayake ride with dad. 

Then we made it to the boardwalk that night. It was a little late for everyone but we still had fun!!

Everyone played and won 2 prizes. We played the water gun game where you shoot the water at the target until it pops the balloon. And Noa and Elijah threw darts at balloons. Elijah hit 2 out of 3. And to my surprise Noa hit 3 out of 3!!!  We then rode on the Ferris wheel. It started to rain while we were on it. Every time we went around we thought it was time to get off then we would go around again. When it was time to get off the guy took the chains off but they couldn't get the Ferris wheel to stop so we just kept going around! We all held on tight because we weren't chained in!! Exciting ride!! Isaac enjoyed it! Elijah was tired. And Noa wanted to get off after the first time around!

Summer Vacation 2014: DE Tuesday

On to the last leg of the trip. The kids are tired and fussy and not feeling 100%. We are hoping they will perk up for the last bit of the vacation. It was about a 2 1/2 hour drive to Delaware. 

Kathy and Grandpa had some pirate gear for the kids to dress up in. 

Poor Isaac was not feeling good. 

We went and had lunch at Cocos favorite restruant, Harpoon Hannah's. 

Jay took the kids out on the kayak. 

Summer Vacation 2014: PA Sunday/Monday

Sunday and Monday were very low key. Sunday, Jay and I drove back from Hagarstown. The kids had spent the night with Grandma. When we got home Isaac wasn't feeling good. We just sat around Grandmas for most the afternoon. Friends from Jay's mum's church, Carlene and Steve, came by to visit. It was nice to see them. After they left we went to Dave Franklin's house to visit with his family. Poor Isaac just sat in their chair the whole time while Noa and Elijah played with Will, Brady and Maggie. They had a blast playing with older kids. I didn't take any pictures Sunday! Wow!!

Monday we packed up at mom's house and headed over to Tom's for the night. Isaac still not feeling good just sat and watched tv all day. Noa and Elijah had a great time playing with David. Elijah got Jay's old trumpet from Grandma's house.  

Jay made us a yummy dinner! This is what he bought for dinner at Shady Maples. 

Summer Vacation 2014: PA Saturday

Saturday we hung around Grandma's house.  I got to take a nice long nap!! I haven't slept good since Elijah hasn't felt good. He's been up every night throughout the night. Last night I was up over half the night. So I took a much needed nap!!  I fell asleep after breakfast and woke up for lunch:) Jay and I were getting ready to go to Hagarstown, MD to see Shirl's son, Jared, race. The kids played in grandmas sprinkler for a little bit. When we left the kids were playing in their fort they made with Grandma. 

Jay and I headed to the race. It was also Shirl's birthday so what a great way to celebrate with her! Jared took 2nd place. It was a great night for a race!! Even a little cool! We saw a rainbow on our way in to the track. 

Summer Vacation 2014: PA Friday, July 4th

For America's birthday we went to the sweetest place on Earth!!! 

We went on the Hershey Chocolate factory tour twice!!

They even made Isaac a special one just for him!!

We went to the Farm to watch the fireworks for the Fourth. First we played a little. Noa and Isaac got in the pond for a little bit. It was actually a very cool day if you noticed the sweatshirts! Perfect day!!! Elijah wasn't feeling good though:(  Once it was dark there was an excellent fireworks show!!!
