Thanksgiving in Arizona: Day Three

Today we hung out in Scottsdale. We went to a park where there was a train and a carousal. We played on the playground. The kids pretended to be in the jail. 

Then we went to Fountain Park and fed the ducks. They attacked us when they found out we had bread! They nibbled at Noa's legs a little. 

Thanksgiving in Arizona: Day Two

Today we took a little road trip to see Sedona. 

What a beautiful place!! 

When we got to Sedona we hiked and climbed Bell Rock. The kids did great hiking and loved climbing the rocks!! 

We had lunch at Wildflowers. And then walked around the town of Sedona. 

Then we drove to Jerome. An old coal mining town. This is the view from the top of Jerome. 

Lots of neat art shops. We went in a cool kaleidoscope store.

Elijah and Isaac took a little nap on the way home. It took a long time to get home!!

Thanksgiving in Arizona: Day One

Travel Day:

Today all five of us road on a plane for the first time as a family!! It was a wonderful adventure!!! The kids did great! They were so excited!!  John gave them the first class ride from the car to the terminal. 

While waiting to board the plane they checked out everything in their special trip bags, played half of the new games on the iPad/DS, and we found the airport play area.  

When we got on the plane they were so excited. 

All the twins said the whole time we were taxiing was "Are we flying yet? Are we flying yet? Are we flying???..." Finally we took off and we were flying!! Once it was time to turn on electric devices, I pulled out the big secret I wanted to surprise them with, the movie "Planes"!! Well for Noa that lasted 10 min. 15 for Elijah and maybe 45 for Isaac;) But they did so much other stuff to entertain them they did great!! And of course I made three trips to the airplane bathroom!! :) Then the highlight of the trip was when Isaac's tooth fell out as we were landing in Denver! What a great story!! 

Changing planes was great. The trip from Denver to Phenoix was fun and uneventful. Tarrin picked us up in Pheneox and we headed to her house!!

Well this one was just a great way to start our trip!!!

What a great trip!!! We had a blast! Very busy!! We will do it again!! Maybe just a week and a half next time. Two weeks might have been a little too long but we enjoyed it all!! Excited to be on our way home!!
