Our 2013 Summer Family Vacation begins

We are on the road. We started our day at the pool. We went over the the neighbor's pool to get some energy out. 

Noa on the float she isn't really asleep though. But she laid still there for a good 15 min!!

The boys. We all had a great morning swim!! I can't believe how well Isaac is swimming! He can now jump off the diving board and swim to the swallow end.

After our morning swim the kids went with Granddaddy for some lunch and to visit with Great Nana. That gave me some time to finish packing!!

Isaac had gymnastics at 4:30. After gymnastics we hit the road! It started a little rough. Elijah was very upset. But I was finally able to calm him down. We saw a beautiful rainbow as we were driving. Surely that's a good sign for a great trip!

Then we hit traffic around Gatlinburg. It was late and the kids were still up. We sat in traffic for an hour.

I went in the back and sat with the twins until they fell asleep. Noa said, "I want out. I want to go home!" :( I finally got her to sleep though. 

It is now 3AM we just stopped for gas and they all briefly woke up but now back on the road an all back asleep!! 6 more hours to go!! We are half way...
